Fall 2010 Accessories

Fall is my favorite season. Not just because it's my birthday season, but I also adore fall weather. The air is always so crisp and cool. The scenery of red and yellow leaves is always the perfect palette for inspiration. In the past week, we've had a lot of rain--but I'm hoping for some sunshine soon.

Fall is also huge for accessories. The heat of summer is gone and you can put on more layers. But it's not too cold yet, so there's no need to bundle up. 

Accessories are so much fun to play around. The little details and the tiny way they match with an entire outfit is just yum. At TCS, since we have uniforms, accessories can also be a lifesaver.

Accessory Day was from October 12th to 15th. To those who participated, thanks for doing so! It went great :]

As these pretty ladies so nicely demonstrated, scarves have a dual function. First of all, they can add a splash of color to normally plain uniforms. They also draw attention to your face--livening up your features. Also, they are warm and snuggly. You'll definitely fall in love with them on cold mornings! Knitted scarves in chunky yarns are especially popular this season on the runways.

Gold Jewelry necklaces, bracelets, bangles galore!  Gold jewelry is classy and goes perfectly with the uniform colors at TCS. Especially with the maroon shirts, the gold gives a rich and vibrant look to the outfit. Alexis' necklace also mixes pearls with strands of different metals, including gold. Play around with some jewelry!

Headbands are a lifesaver for bad hair days. They're also super popular for fall 2010. Oversized hair adornments are pretty. A well placed flower gives a chic look. Oversized jewelry is always fun to play around with, as Brandon demonstrates!

Perfectly Matching! Rachel M's demonstrates the tiny details accessories add. Her red and white shoes match with the print of her bag. Contrasting with the blue on her shirt and mixing with the plaid skirt, it's a beautiful combo!
